Cookie policy

Updated October 15, 2026

This page explains the website technologies used to keep url2llm working. For information about account and API data, see the privacy policy.

Essential session technologies

The sign-in service may set cookies or use browser storage to authenticate a session, protect it, and support security checks. These technologies are needed for account access. Cookie names and durations are controlled by the authentication provider.

The public demo sets a first-party demo_id cookie when you run a demo scrape. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax, and lasts up to one year. It identifies an anonymous visitor for demo usage limits and can connect demo scrapes to an account after sign-up.

Local preferences

The app stores a light or dark theme preference in browser local storage. This preference is used to display the dashboard and is not used for advertising.

Analytics and marketing

The current application code does not include a first-party advertising or marketing pixel. Authentication and hosting providers may process technical usage data needed for their services. Any later analytics or advertising tools should be listed here before they are enabled.

Managing browser storage

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential session storage can prevent sign-in and dashboard use. Contact support@url2llm.com with questions about these technologies.
